Canada (Qu├ębec) In about 25 years of birding at the airport in Dorval, Quebec, I've never come across this species. So it was quite a surprise to look out the window and from about 0.5km away see a large white bird flying in summertime, meaning it wasn't a Snowy Owl.

Little Egret (7) (Egretta garzetta) User: Brian  (See all photos - 912) (Comments - 1859)
Canada (Ontario) Ottawa - This bird is Ontario's first Little Egret. It was spotted last week a few km away but only seen really for a day; refound in Kanata today. It does move around quite a bit. Last week it had head plumes. Gone now. Feet yellow but not quite as bright as Snowy Egret. Lores, in front of eyes, blue/gray. A bit larger than Snowy Egret but much smaller than Great Egret.

Eastern Great Egret (3) (Ardea modesta) User: ajosborne  (See all photos - 91) (Comments - 5)
Australia (Victoria) Down in OZ I have identified this as Eastern Great Egret (Ardea modesta). However, it does appear to be the same bird that is identified as Great Egret on this site. Ref: http://www.environment.gov.au/cgi-bin/sprat/public/publicspecies.pl?taxon_id=1004
