I don't like feeder shots but this female has been coming to our feeder regularly.
She was spotted yesterday and again today October 3rd.She appears very fat and ready for the long migration.

Morrisburg - unless the throat feathers are at the right angle to the sun they appear to be dark brown. Note the extended tongue. Hummers routinely flick their tongues but it can be difficult to capture.
