Canada (Ontario) Morrisburg - unless the throat feathers are at the right angle to the sun they appear to be dark brown. Note the extended tongue. Hummers routinely flick their tongues but it can be difficult to capture.

Even without the red, still a very nice photo and great shades of colour.

Thanks. The bird was very cooperative, returning to the same branch multiple times over a 30 minute period. I managed to get good throat colour in some but not with the tongue showing.
