I fought with the ID on this bird between Brewer's and Clay-colored. I think it's the latter.

A terrific series...so much variety.
For this one it certainly looks like a Clay-coloured, but I have no experience working with the Brewer’s Sparrow.

Thanks, it was a whirlwind trip to south-eastern Alberta and back. We actually had some time to visit family in Calgary as well!

Yes, this is a Clay-coloured. From this angle you can see a buffy crown stripe. Brewer's has none.
