Thanks. I love the setting too. I had some shots a bit closer but the ones with the vegetation were more appealing. When I was shooting I was waiting for it to move into desirable backgrounds.

I waited for many years to find one in the region. It is possible to find one in Southwestern Ontario in migration but rare here in the East. Now if I can just find a cooperative Ruff. There have been a number reported in Ontario this spring, mostly females/juvenile males so watch in Quebec.

They are very striking because of their large size. This was very much appreciated in our area. Glad you had one as well on home turf.
