Thanks. I wasn't even going to take any shots but my friend, who was driving, said go for it so I did. They were flying close to the road along the St. Lawrence. This is not much of a crop so the feather detail is great.

Because the bird was so close and in motion I was having a hard time with the autofocus but some shots worked.

I knew it was good but didn't realize until I saw the results how good the light was and the bird is flying in the right direction.
