Pileated Woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus) User: Songbirds  (See all photos - 16)
Canada (Qu├ębec) This gorgeous bird stunned us the first time we saw him. Must live in the neighbourhood and he is huge! This photo was taken at least 50-60 feet away zooming in. He (we are guessing it's a he but can be wrong) is very wary of humans but loves our neighbours trees so we see him often
