Canada (Ontario)St. Rose - with fields now fully covered in snow, Horned larks are gathering along roadsides to feed. This is the Northern subspecies. In February the Prairie Horned Lark will arrive, our first spring migrant. It can be distinguished by white above the eyes rather than yellow.
