Ottawa - this bird has cooperated for observers for a couple of weeks. Most of the time it spends sitting on the water in the middle of the Ottawa River waiting to chase gulls. It lifts off occasionally, puts on a show in hot pursuit. For this shot it was soaring like a gull for about 90 seconds. Very nice of it.
