The Birdviewing.com journey began in late November 2005 with the aim of drawing attention to the different bird species of the world, play a role in helping preserve biodiversity, and raise environmental awareness globally.
Birdviewing.com has evolved into a useful tool for photographers to store their photos, check their stats and totals of their photos, and easily retrieve and view photos. It also provides a platform for non-photographers to see bird photos on a daily basis.
One of the greatest things about bird photography is that every picture is different. It is a constant challenge to take bird photos, whether of common birds in the yard or rare birds in remote areas of the world. It is always a treat to see every bird in every photo.As we approach the milestone of 2500 species uploaded, we look forward to continuing this amazing journey of learning about our great planet and seeing more of your bird photos from around the world.
