We had a number of shipwrecked birds on board- 21 in total- mainly Prions and Storm Petrels- we even had a Rufous-collared Sparrow and a Southern House Wren. All were released safely once they had recovered

A King Penguin landed on a beach in the Western Cape just last month. It was taken by Parks board personnel ( much to the disgust of the twitchers) to an isolated beach on Cape point and released
