Douglas River near Rufford, Lancashire. Doesn't show well in the photo because of the angle, however there was nice green highlighting on the back of the head that stood out well in the sunlight.

Sunday was a quiet day at Ile Bizard - aside from the usual Canada Geese this was the only other bird we spotted. It was too far away to identify at the time - needed to enlarge to tell what it was. (in the trees on the farside of the marsh at the first boardwalk).
