Tough conditions in the early morning but a new species for me and for the site. Santa Marta mountains - Cuchillo San Lorenzo.

It’s a good thing the bird has that throat accent colour or it would be easy to miss.
That was the surprise…with very little light, that is the actual colour observed and photographed so I’m not sure how that occurred in those conditions.
