Being out in nature and hearing the morning chorus, seeing how birds interact with their surroundings and go about their lives provides me a greater understanding of the natural environment we live in. With bird photography, every photo is different, which makes seeing the same and different species exciting.

I'm not a Gull expert, but for an unknown reason this Slaty-backed Gull does not seem to be in winter plumage despite it being the end of Feb. Are they already molting?

In a wildlife scene I've never witnessed, a White-tailed Sea Eagle was competing with Cranes and Crows to capture its prey. It meant for some incredible angles and displays.

These Snow Buntings were almost invisible as they huddled against the side of a barn. They did well in keeping out of the 30-40km/h wind.
