Parc national de l'Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé, Gaspésie

Last one for tonight. It's not difficult to take photos of gannets at this colony. The difficulty is in trying to isolate one interesting scene! Birds are constantly shifting up and down, getting in the way.

Here, just one bird on the edge of the colony.

Not a typical shot of woodpecker. Shot at the Refuge faunique Marguerite-d'Youville.

I was shooting primarily a Nuthatch on this tree stump when this woodpecker took its place. Since I was already very close (~4 meters), I only had time to drag the tripod back a bit and get off a few shots before the woodpecker left the stump.
