Once upon the time, this is the most abundant species when I was a boy in this island. Now, overhunting for food in China reduces this species into endangered list. This morning, I spot this female yellow-breasted bunting perched on a comb of reed seeds to plug the seeds. I was able to approach within 3 meters to take this photo.
