I was watching him as he did this. It was amazing to see. He actually hovered over that spot for about 3 or 4 seconds before he plunged into the water and came up with a fish in his beak.

Ile de la visitation. I wish I had a much more powerful zoom lens. These birds are very hard to get close to and they're fast too. I had to do some cropping so the photo isn't as clear as I'd like it to be. But isn't he adorable anyway??
