Ecuador male, juvenile
This tiny hummer is very difficult to photograph as it darts,bee like between the flowers.The adult male of this species is spectacular but this is the best I could do.
It looks like a female but you can see the beginning of green spots on the gorget so it is an immature male whose crest has yet to develop.
