We have 4 species of Sandgrouse in Southern Africa. They prefer the drier parts in the west. These Burchalls we found in the Kgalagadi. They drink early morning just after sunrise

There were 3 oxpeckers when we stopped to watch them on the back of an impala. Two birds jumped to the ground and immediately started displaying
