I flushed this Sora accidentally while chasing phalaropes. Only the second time I've ever seen one. I cleared the area quickly in case I was near its nest.

There are hundreds of nests under a footbridge on the Weaselhead reserve in Calgary. I never saw a bird land except at their nest, so I attempted an in-flight shot.
