This is to give some perspective on the speed at which it was build. It took the Robin 12 hours to built this and another 12 before the nest was fully completed. Four days after starting, the first egg appeared.

There were many species on the trip where I was unable to get a good shot - however at least the identifying field marks are visible - in this case the darker rose crown compared to the face colouring. City of Rocks National Reserve, Idaho.
