On of my favourite species, ever since first seeing him in 1989 in Pointe Claire. Seen during his thousand mile journey, successfully finding small bugs to eat in the pine needles. Long Point, Ontario.

It was Cape May Warbler day...with close to a dozen moving through Long Point Ontario. Thanks to Sue and Ahmad for their experience in searching for migrating warblers.

This was taken just after 7:00am on what we named "Cape May Day". The deep yellow and chestnut pattern of this species make it a favourite amongst birders from all over spotting at Long Point.
