This amazing hummingbird kept zooming up high in the air and then landing on some tall grasses.The photo was not very clear but I managed to catch the flight.taken at Cuchilla Nuevo,San Clemente.

We saw this stunning hummingbird on our trip to Peru in 2006 but never really got a good look at it.This time we were with a guide who knew exactly where to find it.Seen in San Clemente Province along the dry,desert coast.
