These birds frequent this park in most winters. The feed on the leaf buds on the Cherry Maple trees right by the parking lot.

First male in red plumage on the site. These birds are not the least bit camera or people shy, and they're right by the parking lot. Birding made easy.

A return to the park under better lighting produced this shot. The head on this bird was quite a bit rustire than the others.

This park is currently hosting these birds along with Bohemian Waxwings and Red Crossbills. I only saw the Grosbeaks today, hope to catch the others. Not the best shooting conditions.
