St. Rose - I am now concentrating on types of Snowy Owl shots that I don't have yet. I have seen about 55 different birds this winter and this ranks at the top of the list as the 'cleanest' adult male. Likely only about 2-3% of this year's migrants look like this.

St. Isidore - The significance of today's photo is not this particular bird, it is what it represents. On this very cold day in Eastern Ontario we had 32 Snowy Owls over a 6 hour period. This is a personal record and is incredible. If we could have been in multiple areas simultaneously at the peak time of 3-5 pm, adding areas we didn't even cover, we could easily have had double that number of owls.

St. Isidore - Lucky find. As I noted with previous Snowy shots, I've been struggling to find a bird in a setting other than on telephone poles. Today was my day.

St. Isidore - When searching for Snowy Owls the #1 spots are roadside telephone or power poles followed by silos.

Russell - The Snowy spectacle continues. This is the first adult male I've come across this winter. We had 19 today throughout parts of Eastern Ontario.
