The tall trees on either side of the trail made observation difficult. With a stream on the north side it was impossible to get a better angle. From the field markings I have guessed that it is a Tennessee Warbler.

We had just arrived at the village and stopped at a gas station for a pit stop. My brother Mark saw a bird on the roof and asked me what it was. I used the camera as binoculars, but as soon as I got the camera up it started to fly off. This was my first viewing of a Nutcracker.
