A life list addition for me. The bird was close to shore due to the many Bonaparte's Gulls hunting for fish. There may have been a Herring run on this day.

After hiking up and down the canyon and seeing very little, I settled at the hummingbird feeder where I saw this Magnificent, plus male and female Anna's, and Black-Chinned hummingbirds.
