Dozens of people came to see this young Sharp-tailed Sandpiper at Baie du Febvre east of Montreal today. The bird is extremely rare in the region.
A lifer, and appears to also be the first upload of the species on Birdviewing.

It's been almost 20 years since I saw my last Ross's Gull - ironically it was at the exact same location - Fort Chambly, Quebec, just east of Montreal. Very rare visitor to our area.
