Is it a Juvenil Lesser Black Backed Gull or a Immature Glaucous Winged Gull

Brian Morin: It's a young Herring Gull. Young birds are always a challenge and the two species (Lesser Black-backed and Herring) aren't that far apart at this stage of life. The Herring is larger so a size comparison helps. Glaucous-winged Gulls are a West Coast species.
