Presqu'ile Provincial Park - Gull Island. An uncommon to rare species in the park. They might get one every year or every other year in fall migration.

Excellent.
One of my favorites.
Mine too. One or two had been seen off and on for a couple of weeks but it took me 3 trips to the park with 5 visits to the island before it worked out. In fact, I had given up on the last trip and was going to head back empty handed when I got it.
Marvelous shot.
I wish these birds were more readily seen here in migration.
I still have yet to seen one. Great job and the buff colour comes out nicely
I was extremely pleased with the bird and it was pretty cooperative.
