Ingleside - These birds returned about a week ago and are a welcome sight in the fields. As expected, it was a very difficult subject to work with.

I went looking for them and found a pair where there was a pair last year. This time I had one bird closer than before.
Indeed, for whatever reason they are often skittish, and facing the other way. Great job.
That is my experience as well. It is a very uncooperative subject.

Agreed. One, you have to find it and then you need to have it cooperate. It’s a difficult combination to get.
