Cornwall - I had another encounter with a Fox Sparrow locally. This large, attractive species is a treat to observe.

Fantastic capture.
I waited very patiently for the bird to move to a nice perch or clearing on the ground. This one was a perfect site.
Gorgeous indeed!
One of my favourite sparrows and we only have a brief time with them.
Agree – just terrific. You can see his big feet – good for foraging 🙂
