Strathroy - this Prairie species successfully hatched 4 chicks. Hopefully they will fledge in a couple of weeks.

Stunning bird, lighting and textures of that ground.
Stunning is right. This bird tops the shorebird list. It was about 8m away. It came in from 75 m out as soon as it saw me because it had four chicks running around on a mud bar.
