Tsawwasen Ferry Jetty, Delta BC
There have been a pair here for about 3 weeks. The Iona and Tsawwassen jettys provide a limited tundra like environment that attracts, Buntings, Horned Larks and Lapland Longspurs in fall and winter.

Took the afternoon off and headed down to White Rock to walk the pier. Scoters swim right under the pier, oblivious to the people above.

Finally added this species to my life list, which is strange as they are year round residents at the BC Ferries Terminal. I got lucky to see it this close up at Point Roberts.

A first for the site as well.
