Presqu'ile Provincial Park - I managed to get a few shots just as the sun was setting. This was offshore on Gull Island, a 100-metre walk in water up to knee deep.

Sue Bishop: Such a beautiful bird. We didn't brave the water and did not see many shorebirds on our recent trip to Presqu'ile. Well done!
BrianMorin: Even the immature birds are quite attractive. Presqu'ile is a great spot with such a variety of habitats that there is something for everyone. Access to the island is only possible from September 11 on following the end of the breeding season for colonial breeding birds.

Ingleside - The only shoreline habitat we have in the region is a few public beaches thanks to very high water level. Finding even one shorebird there was a pleasant surprise.
