Thanks to Birdviewing partner Lou, we managed 132 species on the trip, many of them photographed. A few got away, such as the painful Juniper Titmouse and the no-show Mountain Quail. We did manage some bluebird photos however these birds are quite skittish around vehicles and especially people. Quilomene Wildlife Area, Washington.

The background is not the sky, but rather a layer of salt mist suspended in front of Cypress Mountain. The heavy duty fence is the airport perimeter fence at YVR. Didn't want to get any closer so as not to flush this already tired migrant.
