I couldn't get enough of this shy species,the ancester of our domestic chicken.
His call is also slightly different.
Seen here at a waterhole in Kaeng Krachan National Park.
We viewed it from behind a blind.

This is the wild ancestor of the common barnyard chicken.A bird who contributed to feeding the masses.This was spotted in the jungle at Kaeng Krachen National Park.We waited at a blind for them to appear out of the forest.They are quite skittish.The crowing sounds slightly different from the domesticated birds.
