Morrisburg - unless the throat feathers are at the right angle to the sun they appear to be dark brown. Note the extended tongue. Hummers routinely flick their tongues but it can be difficult to capture.

Cooper Marsh - Lancaster. I worked with this little beauty off and on for 30 minutes. It became accustomed to me and allowed close approach; so close that I had to set my telephoto to its macro setting. I waited a week trying with multiple birds at several locations before hitting pay dirt today. There is no feeder present.
