This Owl was roosting just off a popular seaside path in Delta. It was keeping one eye open to watch for trouble. It must like the location as it's been using it for a month or two.

Several wary Mew Gulls stopped on a small outcrop at North Saanich, BC. It was interesting that some had lighter eyes, some darker, and some had light feet and legs with other's more yellow.
