King's Links Golf Course on Boundary Bay, Delta BC. What a pleasure to have this bird show up here right on the coast, where there are hundreds of Bald Eagles wintering. It displaced an adult Bald Eagle on the biggest tree on the golf course. This shot shows it just leaving that tree to perch in a nearby yard.

This was the undisputed highlight of our birding tour, taken around 10:30 PM high above Kelowna. Usually our guide is happy to have one answer him, this one appeared in his spotlight long enough for the group to view and photograph.
This was my only lifer on the tour.

Not sure why this town has 3 names.
This was an unexpected lifer, I did not identify them until I was back home. I assumed they were Common Terns when I saw them.
