Near Springbank Airport on the outskirts of Calgary.

These birds can be seen in BC, but I had no luck in the Okanagan on two trips. I stumbled on them while turning around to go back to where a Swainson's Hawk was perching down the road.

South Jetty, Iona Regional Park, Richmond BC
A rare bird alert triggered a Sunday walk about 3KM out on the Iona Sewage Jetty. The bird was located sunning on the rocks by myself and two other birders.

This was a lifer for me.
