After many tries, we had given up trying to see this species when suddenly it appeared for a few seconds and vanished. Bentsen-Rio Grande State Park, Texas. I have several "record" shots simply for the record, but just realized this is the first upload of this species.

The first record in North America of a Cattle Tyrant. We got very lucky as we were driving through Corpus Christi by chance yesterday and saw the ebird record. As nobody was around, we began wandering the street in the downtown area and saw him fly up into a palm tree.
