WIth patience and a bit of luck, I caught the moment when a wind gust ruffled the feathers at the same time the egret had turned to look at me (or my noisy spotter).

Several pairs of Bald Eagles have nests in a protected area of Princess Place, however they are not accessible to the public. During a break in the cloudburst, this lone eagle flew close enough to a public trail for this fleeting snapshot.
