I had heard that a group went to Mount Royal and saw a flock of Bluebirds, so we went the next week and luckily found the flock in the cemetery.

These were taken in the St Lazare sandpits. The birds always positioned themselves so that we had to shoot towards the sun. I got help with the ID from one of the local birders; George.

On our first day in Costa Rica we stayed in San Jose, the sparrows were around the pool area. Also the first bird to be photographed there.

Again from Monte Verde, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would have said a nice stuffed toy. In this pose more of his long tail is visible and the hint of blue in some parts.
