King's Links Golf Course on Boundary Bay, Delta BC. What a pleasure to have this bird show up here right on the coast, where there are hundreds of Bald Eagles wintering. It displaced an adult Bald Eagle on the biggest tree on the golf course. This shot shows it just leaving that tree to perch in a nearby yard.

A life list addition for me, there are a large number of these birds in various spots in the Lower Mainland this year. I was lucky to have them land on this tree as I was heading out of the Sanctuary.
