Crysler - Nice to see an adult of this uncommon species. There are very few areas for us to check for shorebirds this year so it was nice to see a spot along a river with good habitat and several dozen birds.

Absolutely stunning!
I spent a few hours walking in the middle of a river (50 metres wide) to get shorebird shots and while it never came super close it was enough to get one like this. Water was only about 2-10″ deep and the river base in this zone was flat rock so an easy effort.
