Crysler - I returned to the area and discovered the bird still present. I remained at one spot in the river (only inches deep in this area so great for shorebirds, and for me) and waited for it to approach for some good shots.

Terrific composition.
I waited 90 minutes for the bird to return to this spot. I took shots in other settings but this was one of the best.
