Had 3 in the front yard lol. Never get tired of seeing that species. Congrats!
That would certainly be a treat to see. I was lucky to see it in the narrow window it showed at this location. One or two show up annually in the province.

Thanks. I watched it off and on for about 90 minutes as it fed on seeds or worked the leaf litter. The park-like setting meant that there was little disturbance. This is a very attractive species.

It is a stunningly plumaged bird. I appreciate when one leaves the West and visits us in the East. I was hoping it would look up rather than just feed so I immitated a Robin call. It worked!
