Wow ! So beautiful, awesome shot.
I have been hoping for a chance to capture this bird in spring plumage for years. In my region we very rarely find any that pass through in spring while in the fall a few juveniles do show up. This was out of my normal range but worth the trip. It is an attractive species, not only the bright colour but the beautiful upper feathering.

It is a very interesting species with a long migration but with its spring route bypassing most central areas here we see very few.
