Baie du Febvre, Québec - 24 August 2008
Note: the photo has been lightened slightly, however the glossy beak and red tinge at the back of the head were clearly visible at close range.
The pintail was in the wild (along roadside near 2nd pond), but clearly is in the habit of cadging snacks from people. Allowed me to approach to within 10 feet.
